Last Updated: Thursday, 25 September 2025The MMR vaccine gives long-term protection against measles, mumps and rubella. It is recommended for all babies and young children, so ensure your child is up-to-date.
However, older children and adults can have the MMR vaccine if they were not vaccinated when they were younger. If you do not think you had the vaccination as a child and would like to be given it here at the surgery, just get in touch with us and we will check your medical record in the first instance.
