Compliments, Complaints & Zero Tolerance

Compliments

We work hard to deliver a high quality professional service to all our patients. Our staff always very much appreciate positive feedback so do please continue to share this with us.

Complaints

We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice.

However, we are aware that unfortunately things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly and as amicably as possible.

To pursue a complaint please contact the practice manager who will deal with your concerns appropriately. An information leaflet giving you more information is available here. Further written information is available regarding the complaints procedure from reception.

Zero Tolerance Statement

At Ellergreen Medical Centre we treat all our patients as an individual with courtesy and respect at all times. In return please note we have a 'Zero tolerance' policy towards violent, abusive or intimidating behaviour towards our staff. Any behaviour of this nature may result in a patient being removed from our practice list.

Our Zero Tolerance statement is in line with the new, zero-tolerance approach which aims to protect the whole NHS workforce against deliberate violence and aggression from patients, their families and the public, and to ensure offenders are punished quickly and effectively.
