FREE Flu Vaccination Clinics For Eligible Patients

Flu vaccination provides the best protection against an unpredictable virus which infects many people and can cause serious illness and death each year.  The vaccination is free and recommended yearly for those most at risk from flu including:-

  • People living with certain long-term medical conditions such as chronic (long term) respiratory disease; chronic neurological disease such as Parkinson's or motor neurone disease; weakened immune system; morbidly obese (defined as BMI of 40 and above); chronic heart disease; chronic kidney disease; chronic liver disease; a learning disability; diabetes.
  • Everyone aged 65 years and over
  • People who receive a carer’s allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if the carer gets sick
  • Close contacts of immunosuppressed individuals.

We are running drop-in clinics, no appointment needed, on the following dates:-

Monday 7th & 14th October 8am to 3.45pm 

Tuesday 8th & 15th October 10am to 6pm

Wednesday 9th October 8am to 3.45pm

Saturday 12th October 8am to 11am 

Alternatively, you may want to pre-book your flu vaccination for an appointment on Monday 21st or Tuesday 22nd October. It may be quicker to book this online. If you’re not already set up with online access click here to download the NHS App.

If you are unable to either attend a drop-in or book online, please phone (0151) 256 9800 to book your flu vaccination.
